I feel so good, I could cry!
I've always been a health and fitness nut, but as I get older, even fitness doesn't help with my chronic back pain. I feel so stressed all the time, trying to juggle everything in my life. I just did a yoga therapy session DURING MY LUNCH BREAK and I feel so good, I could cry!

Does your body feel tighter than it used to?
You've been meaning to try yoga...
Maybe your doctor mentioned it. Maybe a friend raved about it. Maybe you've just had this quiet feeling that slowing down and moving more gently might actually help — your back, your sleep, your stress, something.
But every time you've looked into it, the classes looked too fast, the poses looked impossible, or the YouTube video left you feeling like you couldn't keep up.
We hear that a lot. And we want you to know — that's not the way we teach.
Check in with your body right now:
- Are your shoulders permanently hunched toward your ears?
- Does your lower back ache by the end of the day?
- Do you feel wired but tired — exhausted, yet unable to actually relax?
- Are you curious about yoga but worried it's just not "for someone like you"?
If you're nodding, you're in exactly the right place.
We've spent over 20 years helping people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s move from stiff and stressed to fluid and focused. The yoga we teach is quiet, unhurried, and built around how bodies actually feel — not how they look in photos.
Start Today!This Isn't a Workout. It's a Way to Feel Whole.
Most yoga today is performance-based — focused on how deep you can stretch or how long you can hold a pose. At Wisely Living, we practice Yoga Therapy. The goal is how you feel inside the practice, not how it looks from the outside.
Here's what that means for you:
- Gentle and accessible — classes designed specifically for the beginner body
- No mirrors, no judgment, no keeping up with anyone else
- Practice in your pajamas, in your living room, on your own schedule
- Led by Heather and Stephen Wisely, with over 40 combined years in Chinese Medicine and Therapeutic Yoga
- Classes organized by what YOUR body needs today — not by yoga style names
This is for you if...
- You've been curious about yoga but had no idea where to start
- You want to feel better in your body without pushing, grinding, or performing
- You're dealing with stiffness, achiness, stress, or low energy
- You want real teachers who answer questions and actually know your name
- You'd love a practice you can do at home, in your own time, without an audience
This probably isn't for you if...
- You're looking for a high-intensity Power Yoga workout to burn calories
- You want to be pushed physically and tracked for performance
- You're looking for a group fitness class environment
This is not a one-time fix
It is an ongoing practice

What's waiting for you inside the Library
Think of this as a thoughtfully organized library — not a random pile of YouTube videos. Every class is taught by the same two teachers, organized for beginners to start from the beginning and work their way through the gentle classes first and gently progressing into more intermediate classes.

Such a nice change from the big commercial classes I have attended elsewhere.
I recently had a total knee replacement and now I am enjoying the chair yoga classes as I recover. I am thankful for the low impact option of the class and it is helping me build my strength back in my leg.
Stephanie
The insight and instruction I received was incredibly helpful.
I’m currently experiencing a rotator cuff issue as well as ongoing plantar fasciitis for which Stephen shared several dynamic stretches and postures. His knowledge from years of teaching, learning in India and his own personal practice is extensive. I felt I was in confident hands. Highly recommend!
Michelle
Anyone, from the beginner to the advanced student, will feel at home.
I highly recommend Built for Healing for anyone interested in exploring a holistic way of approaching better health.

"I didn't find this work in a textbook. I found it in my own body — and then spent the next twenty years chasing every tool that actually helped.
That path started at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, then wound through independent studies in aromatherapy, yoga, and flower essences before landing me in New York, where I earned my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
From there I traveled to China to study in two TCM hospitals, and then to India — where I completed my 500-hour yoga teacher training and experienced, for the first time, what it felt like to calm my own nervous system down without depending on anyone else to do it for me.
Back home in Utah, I've spent over 20,000 treatments and 5,000 teaching hours doing this work in person. In 2024 I completed my Doctorate in Chinese Medicine — because apparently I really like school.
What I love most, after all of it, is welcoming someone who has never done this before. You don't need to know what you're doing. You don't need to be flexible, experienced, or ready. That's exactly where we start."

"I didn't come to yoga because it sounded good.
I came because I had no choice.
In 2007, a debilitating back injury stopped me in my tracks and forced me to do something I wasn't very good at — slow down. What I found on the other side of that process became the foundation of everything I teach. Yoga didn't just help me heal. It taught me how to actually listen to my body, probably for the first time.
That experience sent me deep into the study of therapeutic yoga, alignment, breathwork, and meditation. I've spent time learning traditional yoga in India, developed a strong working knowledge of herbal medicine, and have logged over 5,000 teaching hours helping students — in person and online — find their way back to feeling good in their bodies.
What drives me hasn't changed since that injury: creating a space that is safe, unhurried, and completely free of pressure. Your body knows more than you think it does. My job is just to help you hear it.
Wherever you're starting from — that's the right place."
SIMPLE, HONEST PRICING
