Meet Heather Wisely

"I didn't find this work in a textbook. I found it in my own body — and then spent the next twenty years chasing every tool that actually helped.

That path started at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, then wound through independent studies in aromatherapy, yoga, and flower essences before landing me in New York, where I earned my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

From there I traveled to China to study in two TCM hospitals, and then to India — where I completed my 500-hour yoga teacher training and experienced, for the first time, what it felt like to calm my own nervous system down without depending on anyone else to do it for me.

Back home in Utah, I've spent over 20,000 treatments and 5,000 teaching hours doing this work in person. In 2024 I completed my Doctorate in Chinese Medicine — because apparently I really like school.

What I love most, after all of it, is welcoming someone who has never done this before. You don't need to know what you're doing. You don't need to be flexible, experienced, or ready. That's exactly where we start."

"I didn't come to yoga because it sounded good.

I came because I had no choice.

In 2007, a debilitating back injury stopped me in my tracks and forced me to do something I wasn't very good at — slow down. What I found on the other side of that process became the foundation of everything I teach. Yoga didn't just help me heal. It taught me how to actually listen to my body, probably for the first time.

That experience sent me deep into the study of therapeutic yoga, alignment, breathwork, and meditation. I've spent time learning traditional yoga in India, developed a strong working knowledge of herbal medicine, and have logged over 5,000 teaching hours helping students — in person and online — find their way back to feeling good in their bodies.

What drives me hasn't changed since that injury: creating a space that is safe, unhurried, and completely free of pressure. Your body knows more than you think it does. My job is just to help you hear it.
